Just like Ali Baba, Aladdin is a character in "1001 Arabian Nights." But he was involved with one magic lamp and not 40 thieves. The genie that lives in the lamp fulfilled Aladdin's wish to be rich, helped him to win the heart of the princess, and gave him noble clothing. The splendid, pre-wound turban and handsome coat/tunic combination in blue, gold and white make that especially obvious.
