When Captain Picard and Commander Riket assumed command during "Star Trek: The Next Generation," the cut of the crew's uniforms wasn't the only thing that changed. For reasons that only real Trekkies know for sure, there was also a small revolution in the way the uniforms were color coded. In any case, red is now the color that designates the Enterprise crew members responsible for Command and Navigation.
This 1-piece, stretchy suit in Star Trek red has a zipper at the back to make it easy to put on. Pin the communicator emblem made of hard plastic to the suit like a brooch – relatively high up on the left side if you want to be authentic. One black/gold pip and four golden ones that fasten to the collar come with the uniform top. You can vary your rank on the Enterprise as the situation requires. You will cut a good figure in this red Star Trek Next Generation suit regardless of your current rank.
