Our Heidi costume is a wonderful echo of the olden days, when misses wore long, graceful skirts and low cut bodices. This outfit features a floor-length skirt in warm red. It is fully gathered into an elastic band at the waistline. The peasant-style blouse may be simple white, but it is simply exciting: it is made of strech fabric for form-fitting comfort. The neckline is elasticized so you can wear it off the shoulder, and the 3/4-length sleeves gather in two places at the upper arm and flutter freely from the elbow downward. The bodice is made of sturdy stretch twill in jeans look with decorative red & gold Jacquard trim at the front and metal eyelets for the lacing of red ribbon. The look is topped off by a simple head scarf – after all, you are the focus of attention!
