Why should a blue blooded Sovereign hide his royal ancestry? Back in the early Medieval era, wearing truly noble clothing was a way of acquiring even more prestige. This Sovereign could have stepped right out of the Bayeux Tapestry. His beige cloak is decorated with boldly contrasting, dark brown edging and opulent golden braid. A wide swathe of beige fur lines the front opening. Gold braid and warm brown squares define the robust pattern on the tunic with extra-wide sleeves and the bracers are done in leathery brown. Our Sovereign seems to be wearing practical head wear as well: turn down the gold-trimmed flaps and you have an arming cap! For God and the King!
