A Renaissance landlady wasn't much different than a 20th century one – extremely interested in having the rent paid on time and otherwise ready to share the latest gossip. Our landlady is dressed for work in an off-the-shoulder blouse in lightweight, unbleached cotton with a gathered neckline and three-quarter sleeves. She has a matching cap to keep her hair as neat and tidy as her rooms are. The bodice in deep wine red has a dagged skirt and is trimmed in antique gold and amber. The sturdy lacing is threaded through metal eyes. An apron in antique gold is attached to the flared, floor-length skirt with a ruffle at the bottom. The skirt has an adjustable drawstring waistline for wearing comfort. PLEASE NOTE: The skirt of this Landlady costume is different from the one shown. It actually comes in medium blue.
