You can't judge a man by his clothes, but what about a ghost? Maybe... in any case, this one looks like a real gentleman. Of course he has been wearing the same outfit for centuries, so you shouldn't be surprised by the many rips and tears it has. But in comparison to the moldy, stinking clothing some other ghosts show up in – not to mention those sticky spider webs it is sometime covered with – this costume has more than a ghost of a chance.
The pieces of the outfit all have one thing in common: their ghostly gray color. It starts at the battered top hat with the crushed velvet band and keeps going when it reaches the wrist-length gloves Even the wig has long, straight gray hair. The trousers with ragged legs are also gray and have a comfortable, elasticized waistband. Our ghostly gentleman sports a vest/shirt combination on top. The three-button vest has a front in silvery gray crushed velvet and a back in shiny white knit with ties. The shirt sleeves and bib insert with a stand-up collar are made of slightly darker gray fabric, and the wide cravat is silvery satin. A gray coat that has seen a lot of wear rounds out the costume. Does anyone know how to get rid of ghost moths?
