Product Description
Our Roman Legionary Tunic is based on a Roman Legion soldier's standard issue toward the end of the Roman Empire (approx. 400 B.C.). Worn beneath armor or as a normal tunic in ancient Rome, the classic cut guarantees a perfect fit and can be combined with men's garb from other periods in history as well. The sturdy cotton fabric means you'll be able to wear this tunic for a long time. Spartan tunics supplied the prototype for the red color of this Roman Legionary Tunic. The Spartans wore red so their enemies would never see them bleed!
