In the 12th century during the crusades, Ibelin was built as a bastion for the crusaders so they could repel the Egyptians' annual attacks more easily. This authentic surcoat is made of especially durable 100 percent cotton. The particolored surcoat is decorated with a pattern of contrasting crosses pattée which, in combination with the colors, make a strong allusion to the Ibelin coat of arms. Our Surcoat "Ibelin" is slit below the hips in front and in back so you can move around quickly. Sound the horns for the next battle!
