Orders received by 3:00 p.m. on business days leave us on the same day and arrive at the recipient’s address on the very next day 95% of the time.

The daily closing time for express orders can vary between 3:30pm and 7:30pm and is displayed directly on the item.

Punctual delivery, however, depends not on us but on factors out of our control, such as our partner carriers. If you urgently require the products you have ordered, we strongly recommend avoiding disappointment by using our lightning speed express delivery.

As soon as your package has been shipped you’ll receive an automatic e-mail with information regarding shipment tracking.

Please note: For delivery to remote areas, for example certain islands or EU-excepted customs territories, we add a surcharge of €19.90 to the shipping costs. In addition, your delivery may take longer, up to five days even with express delivery.

VAT, Customs & Fees in Switzerland

Please note: when importing into Switzerland import taxes (Swiss VAT) apply as well as customs fees where applicable.

VAT

We invoice net prices only (see total price on our website minus 19 percent German VAT). The Swiss customs authority charges 8% VAT upon importation as well as customs fees and a postal fee where applicable (see below). These fees are charged by customs separately and are due upon delivery. You can find more information regarding Swiss VAT on the website of the Swiss Post.

Customs Fees

• The amount depends on the net merchandise value, the gross weight of the package (incl. packaging) and the type of goods.
• The District Directorate of Customs can explain which customs fees apply to which class of goods (i.e. Basel, e-mail: kdbs.zentrale@ezv.admin.ch | Tel.: 061 287 11 11).
• Upon returning items, customs fees and Swiss VAT already paid can be reclaimed at the customs office.

Postal Delivery Fees

Upon import into Switzerland postal delivery fees apply when customs or VAT exceed the tax-free allowance of 5 CHF. The postal delivery fee refers to the fee the Swiss Post charges for attending to customs formalities and costs 10 CHF per package.
