In general, the Elven race loves nature, and this is reflected in the colors, materials and design of the clothing and armor they wear. But some elves are devoted to the dark side. Our leather armour set - Elves, black features graceful curves, leaf forms, stamping, rivets and eyelets in silver finish, and black lacing. This leather armor has so many highlights we'll simply start with the largest piece: the cuirass. Made of curved plates and strips of 3-4 mm leather stamped with leaf and meander borders, the front and back sections of the cuirass lace together at the sides and between the shoulder blades. The front plates are riveted to each other at the sides, and fasten across the front by means of leather straps and decorative metal buckles with an antique brass finish. The entire piece is riveted to shoulder straps cut extra wide for added protection. The back strips are riveted at the sides and to an inner strip of suede. The sharp points are covered by small, raindrop-shaped leather plates and sharp corners are also rounded. The back piece laces to the shoulder straps.
The three segments of the articulated pauldrons are riveted together for maximum freedom of movement and maximum effect. The top piece is raised and shaped for grace and extra protection. It also makes your shoulders look broader. They lace to the cuirass shoulder straps and buckle to your upper arm. The hip belt is made of three pieces of decorative leather. It laces at the back. At each side, three straps hang down to buckle to the tassets – the thigh guards. They are shaped like leaves and have gracefully stitched center seams. Bracers and hand guards complete the look. They are designed with archery in mind. The flexible, double-segmented bracers lace closed. The hand guards protect the backs of your hands while leaving your fingers and thumbs free to move.
Elegant yes, but this leather armour set - Elves, black also radiates power!
