This unusual, handcrafted Leather armour set - Tuatha for LARP is as practical as it is decorative. These armor pieces made of 3-4 mm thick genuine leather in cool walnut brown are stamped with Celtic knot ornament and outlined with fake stitching. They are joined using metal rivets in antique brass finish or matching metal eyelets with dark brown lacing, and have flourishing, ornate metal buckles.
The main section of this highly protective armor is the 2-part cuirass, which has molded chest pieces and waist pieces riveted to a central shield shape decorated with a winged Celtic knot. The three straps at each side are stamped with Celtic knots. They are used to buckle the front to the back, and the shoulder straps lace to the shaped back as well. A thick gorget provides protection for the throat. Adjust its size with the buckle at the front and lace it to the chest and shoulder straps. And then lace the articulated pauldrons to the shoulder straps at the same place. They are made from five pieces of leather riveted together. The top piece is an upright wing riveted to the next piece, which has a strap and buckle with a small, decorative belt case (approx. 9x6.5x3 cm (lxwxd)). The rounded bottom pieces have a buckle and strap that fixes the pauldrons to your upper arms. Place the sturdy hip belt with the strap and buckle (for one of those little cases) over your right hip and buckle it at the side. Now lace the bracers with the Celtic knot ornament and buckles onto your forearms. You can also attach one of the cases here.
