That is partly because a piece of its skull is showing and a number of open wounds embellish the mask. The mouth is modeled in loving detail: half of it is painted on and the side with the textured teeth is missing part of its lower lip. Yummy. An opening at the side of the mouth lets you drink through a straw while wearing this mask. Nose and ear holes are also included.
