Product Description
Known for their courage and fierce independence, the Cossacks settled the steppes of southern Russia and Ukraine in the 15th century. They are best known for their skill at riding and singing today. On ceremonial occasions, tradition-conscious cossacks always wear their uniforms. The black jacket is edged with gold braid and decorated with red & gold bars at the chest. The lightweight red trousers match the shirt with the typical banded collar and have an elasticized waistband that makes them very comfortable to wear. The finishing touches to this Cossack costume are a dramatically elegant cape trimmed with fake fur and gold braid, and a black cap with golden soutache. Dashing, noble and proud – especially on the back of a horse!
