Product Description
The tragic story of forbidden love between two young people from feuding families would have been half as tragic without its male protagonist. And of course Romeo knows what women are attracted to: good looks supplemented by good taste in clothing. Romeo & Juliet set in early 16th century Germany? Shakespeare would have approved – this colorful costume looks great on stage! The shirt/doublet combination starts off with a dark brown doublet body with slashes at the chest that show the gray shirt underneath. But striped sleeves in blue and green patterned velvet burst out from below the shoulder wings. The cuffs and center stripes are in the same red velvet as the belt with a metal buckle, which fastens at the back with a hook and loop strip. The wide breeches with an elasticized waistband match the sleeves and are also elasticized at the knees. Brown boot tops with golden buckles and a brown and gray sack hat with gold braid make Romeo irresistible!
