This elegant, midnight blue shimmering gown would turn any simple maiden into a queen in an instant. The floor-length gown has a square neckline trimmed in fine silver & black lace. A stiff reinforced, insert of silver velveteen that comes to a point at the waist with metallic silver and black floral embroidery is trimmed with elaborate silver beads. Silver metallic and black lace outlines the entire front panel up to the shoulder seams and the same lace emphasizes the waistline at the front.
The Juliet sleeves have short puffs in midnight blue trimmed with a frill of semi-sheer black & silver trim. The tight inner sleeves made of heavy silver velveteen end in graceful points trimmed with silver & black lace and a frill. This gown is starting to sound like the midnight sky under a full moon! At the back our Queen Maria Stuart gown fastens with six elaborate black frog closures and a tiny metal hook at the neckline. The silver modesty panel underneath is meant to show a bit. Truly majestic!
