Product Description
A courtier is anyone who has business at court, although kings and rulers often expected important nobles to be in attendance for most of the year. Being well dressed and knowing your manners helped to attract the king's attention The long-sleeve, lined and padded doublet is made of shiny, soft green damask in a small allover flower and paisley pattern. It fastens at the front with hooks. All of the seams are outlined in gold ribbon and dark green, dotted fabric, and the shoulder wings, cuffs and stand-up collar are made entirely of the dark green fabric. It is also used to make the decorative oval shapes on the sleeves. Made of 100 percent cotton twill, the breeches have a wide, fitted waistband and a button-up fly, but at the back there is lacing through sturdy metal eyes so you can adjust them to fit your figure. The body of these breeches are pleated into the waistband and the deep, approx. 20 cm cuffs with lacing and cloth loops at the sides. Our Courtier knows how to dress to his advantage!
