A "vizier" has nothing to do with eye shades: viziers were once representatives, assistants or consultants to the caliph. In Iran, Egypt and Afghanistan today, viziers are political ministers. In view of their representative jobs, it's obvious that viziers dress for the public eye. Our Vizier is wearing a lustrous vest that is sewn onto his shimmering, green shirt, which has elasticized sleeves for ease of movement. The lightweight trousers are cut wide for more wearing comfort. The characteristic fez hat and the elegant, golden shoe tops add the finishing touch to a very visible outfit. Fantastic!
