Product Description
The sultan is a ruler who has set himself second to no man. And he dresses to show his supreme position. Our Sultan costume consists of a traditional coat in dark blue with bright golden shirt sleeve cuffs attached to the coat sleeves. The front opening and coat sleeve ends are trimmed with a wide band of damask in an ogee pattern of turquoise and dark blue on a silver background edged with modest gold braid. Small golden disks mark the snap fasteners that close the jacket at the front.
Simple wine red pajama-style trousers with an elasticized waistband and elasticized cuffs appear beneath the coat. The bright gold sash tied around his hips is another sign of power. And on his head, our Sultan is wearing a dark blue, pre-tied turban with a large red cut rhinestone at the center. In his richly colored robes with their ornate accents, he looks like he just stepped out of a Persian miniature. As-Salamu Alaykum!
