Product Description
Effendi, an obsolete Turkish form of address, means "lord" or "master." And of course a real Effendi would never leave the house without his opulent, jewel-bedecked turban or his golden shoe tops with curled toes! This Effendi is wearing a shining coat of golden damask in a plume and vine pattern, lightweight although it is fully lined. The stand up collar, cuffs and edging are in emerald green stain and a wide, fringed emerald green sash fastens the coat at the waist. The matching green trousers have an elasticized waistband to provide the comfort the Effendi is accustomed to. No doubt about it: this Effendi costume is hotter than Aphrodisias in the August!
PLEASE NOTE: The pre-wrapped turban in gold & white damask has red and green stripes and is decorated with strings of pearl beads and a cockade.
