Celtic Chemise: In the Middle Ages, ladies of all walks of life wore chemises. They were used as underdresses during the day and nightgowns at night. Our Celtic Chemise has very long sleeves decorated with white lace trim that can be gathered as required with a drawstring in each sleeve. The neckline of this Maid Chemise can also be adjusted with a drawstring.
