Product Description
The first religious order was created to provide protection, escort and care for pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land – its members dressed in preparation for all contingencies. Our Hospitaller is wearing modest, dark brown garb made of robust cotton. The long-sleeve Hospitaller tunic has an embroidered white Maltese cross on the chest and is fastened with a wide, light brown cord sash. The hooded cloak ties at the throat, and also has an embroidered white Maltese cross on the left side. Stripes of chain mail edge the slits at the front and back of the tunic to make it look like this medieval knight costume also includes a mail hauberk. Noble, and very clever!
