Product Description
Scarecrows guard the seed as well as the fields in which the seed grows. They therefore demand sacrifices – not only from the birds that enter the field without permission, but from the humans as well. And because scarecrows are outdoors quite a bit, our Scarecrow costume looks, well, weathered. The dirty gray top still carries the blood stains of earlier victims, and is sewn so with such big stitches in the chest area that some of the stuffing is coming out. The sleeves are extra long so you can hide your hands inside of them. The trousers are covered with streaks of dirt, their tears are clumsily sewn together, and they have an elasticized waistband. The fake straw is made of pressed paper that looks and sounds like straw. It is firmly attached to the suit. Technically, the Scarecrow mask is a half mask with eye and mouth openings. It stays on with an elastic band. Of course nobody knows that this is a half mask, because the clumsily stitched burlap completely covers your head. And over one eye it has mean, red stitches. The other eye is covered by black net, so you can see out but the birds can't see in. The grubby, beat up hat literally tops this costume off. It's open season on intruders as of... now!
