The only thing that could save Captain John from being forced to walk the plank by his mutinying crew was the ancient curse of a voodoo witch. She doomed him to eternal life as an undead buccaneer – an anything-but-appealing walking skeleton. At least she allowed him to keep the tatters of his former glory.
The horrors this undead buccaneer suffered made his hair curl and turn completely white. Luckily, his tricorne hat with a pirate insignia is attached to the wig and covers most of it. The 2-piece half mask in skull look has a gray van Dyke moustache and beard. An elastic band keeps the mask on your face and the lower jaw is adjustable and moves when you speak. The red dress coat has seen many battles – you can tell by the slashes in the sleeves and the shredded skirts. Hook and loop strips fasten it at the front. Hook and loop strips also hold the grim animal skull epaulets and the imitation leather bandolier in place. The cuffs, decorative pocket flaps and full length revers provide a smooth contrast in light brown imitation leather. Bronze-colored chains rattle around his wrists and neck. And the tattered remains of lace shirt cuffs spill out from the coat sleeves. This undead buccaneer has managed to keep his jabot, although it also looks the worse for wear. The dashing sash at his hips adjusts with a decorative metal buckle. When you show up at the next party in this undead buccaneer pirate costume, the other guest will clear the room.
