The common chimpanzee can be found throughout Central Africa. Our Chimpanzee Deluxe costume can hardly be called common – in fact, it is downright unusual. Take the full mask it comes with, for example. The forehead to the upper lip is made of one piece and the jaw is separate. This means you can move your mouth realistically when you're wearing the mask. The salt & pepper beard is attached to the mask, while the hair is attached to a comfortable, black knit tube you pull over your head and neck like a sock. The feet and hands are molded in minute detail – right down to the cracked and worn fingernails – and you'll be able to move your fingers one at a time while wearing the hands. The latex toes are padded to keep their shape and the feet pull over your shoes and are fixed in place with elastic bands. The upper body is a long-sleeve, black stretch t-shirt with large patches of black, hairy fake fur and a latex chest. The shoulders are padded for extra bulk, and the latex is airbrushed to look realistic. Just pull the whole thing over your head to put it on. Now you can monkey around to your heart's content!
