Product Description
According to the Greek myth, you would turn into stone if you looked directly at Medusa. Our Medusa costume has the complete opposite effect. You will look so mysterious and lovely in this enchanting dress that people will simply melt when they see you. A tiara made of shimmering golden fabric with a meander trim and a central violet rhinestone on a hair band bears the stylized snakes that represent the infamous hair of Medusa. The snakes are writhing wires covered in soft black fabric and rows of violet/green/blue shining sequins. You can bend and arrange them as you like.
The dress itself glimmers and shines as well. Made of black crushed velvet, the floor-length dress is a simple A-line with an elasticized back, a bustiere neckline and cups made of gathered black satin with an outer layer of turquoise and gold shimmering net. The net drapes down to create a pointed waistline, and is repeated as airy, veil-like trumpet sleeves. Gold braid outlines the cups and the neckline, and the sleeves are kept in place by elastic bands of golden sequins. A fascinating effect – dare to look!
