But to be an authentic halfling, you need a halfling outfit. When Frodo was on the road with the ring, he didn't really want to attract attention. His choice would have been something very similar to this outfit in shades of brown. Made of dark brown, 100 percent cotton velveteen, the trousers come with suspenders so they stay on regardless of what you have in your pockets. The fully lined vest is also made of 100 percent cotton velveteen, but it is warmer and lighter brown. It buttons at the front and has 3 pockets for useful tools and implements. The light brown, 100 percent cotton shirt in rustic homespun look has long, roomy sleeves and a standing collar. The ankle-length traveling cape in dark, forest green cape is made of loosely woven cotton. It has a deep hood, and fastens at the throat with two wooden buttons.
