Product Description
An enchantress is a spell-caster – whether for good or for evil. Our Enchantress is wearing a wide, floor-length dress in cold, dark brown. Princess seams give it a bit of shape. The shawl collar and cuffs of the wide, flared sleeves are made of golden shimmering knit with a dragon-skin texture. Mysterious chains of metal squares and disks with glowing red centers hang from the collar at the front and a veil of red shimmering net drapes from the shoulder to the side seam. The conical hat, called a hennin, is in matching dark brown and dragon skin, with a long veil of lightweight gold mesh; height approx. 42 cm. This exciting combination of dragon skin and hennin dates this costume to the late Middle Ages, when alchemy was slowly becoming accepted as a science.
