Product Description

A throne is just a bench covered with velvet. That clever saying is attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte, and is probably the reason why you won't find any velvet in this highly decorative yet tasteful costume. The black coat has extra-wide revers in white decorated with golden buttons, and there are golden buttons on the cuffs and skirt lining as well. The red cuffs are trimmed with golden braid and the epaulets have golden fringe. A full row of the same bright, golden buttons closes the jacket and is a decorative element at the same time. Wear the black, knee high boot tops over the white breeches and a hat with a red/white/blue cockade to crown your imperial head. After all, a head without a hat is like a palace without malice.
