This classic noblewoman's dress is pure Italian Renaissance: dark, shining, red – and brilliant by candlelight. It is the ideal garb for a lady in waiting, but you'll grace any official court function in this sweeping dress. Our Medici Dress is made of 100 percent cotton in a red and black damask weave with lots of shine. The long, puffed sleeves are made of lightweight, midnight black corduroy decorated with silver braid and silver studs. The sumptuous skirt of this Renaissance dress has a full front gore of black corduroy with matching silver braid. You can adjust the dress to fit your waistline with the long, lacing at the back, modesty panel included.
