Product Description
In the 18th century, American patriots paved the way for America's independence from Great Britain. Conspiracy theories here, Freemasons there – American Patriots who lived back then, like Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin, are still considered folk heroes of the USA. But the simple people were the ones who defended their new homeland during the War of Independence, and their uniforms were extremely handsome when they were new and clean.
The skirts of the dress coat in patriot blue are pinned back for increased freedom of movement. They reveal a crisp white lining that matches the cuffs, wide revers and sleeve caps. Metal buttons provide decorative shine . The plain stock fastens around the neck with a hook and loop strip. The white waistcoat fastens with a row of buttons, and it has loops for the adjustable belt. The breeches, also in white, have a comfortable elasticized waistband and button at the cuffs. This means you can cool down your legs after a long march across the battlefield or keep the party from getting too hot!
