This unique replica of a French musketeer tabard is made of fine, black cotton velveteen and is lined with shiny satin. The tabard is decorated with hand embroidered sliver crosses and the royal lily in gold on the chest, back and sides. The side seams are trimmed with wide silver braid. The generous cut allows a musketeer sufficient freedom of movement during deadly fencing duels with the Cardinal's band of loyal supporters or while wooing a comely lady.
