Product Description
The Scots were setting trends as early as the Renaissance: they all wore doublets! Made of soft velveteen in either midnight blue or forest green, our Scots Doublet can be worn with or without long sleeves: the sleeves are laced to the body at the shoulders so they can be removed as you please. The wealth of golden buttons at the front and the cuffs are really for buttoning up, and gold soutache trims the picadils at the hips and defines the front row of buttons and the upper chest. When it comes to their own doublets, Scots let the purse strings go!
