The heart symbol started out as stylized fig leaves in the 3rd millennium BC. Ivy leaves were later used in the secret language of love: in the 12th and 13th centuries, they were colored red to symbolize a loving heart.
Our heart ring carries this meaning into the present with a red enamel heart that expresses passion and love. The high quality setting made of English pewter is decorated with florid bows and arabesques. Our heart ring is a symbol of eternal love!
