When a pirate stands at the prow of the ship proudly looking out to sea and a stiff breeze threatens to lift her eyepatch, something heroic must be in the offing. As long as her hat doesn't fly off, everything is fine. This pirate hat will surely stay on – it has a black, 2-cm-wide fabric band that hugs your head and ends in two long ties at the back. The brim is reinforced with a stable piece of thin cable, and three snap fasteners attach it to the crown to form a tricorne. Our flexible, brown pirate hat is treated to look old and weathered. Now the only thing that's missing is the wind.
