More Fun than Virtual Reality
If you’re a gamer wondering what to wear for Carnival, chill out! This one’s a no-brainer. Here we’ve put together some of our favorite video game costumes – they’re great as couples costumes and group costumes, too.
At this point in human history almost everyone has played a video game, and for an even greater number of us games such as Angry Birds, Super Mario and Tetris are as familiar as peas and carrots. Recently, these games and their protagonists have made the leap from virtual reality to reality reality. And video game costumes are a great example of this phenomenon. Because video games are only gaining in popularity, you’ll see plenty of them at this year’s Carnival celebration. Check out some of our official games costumes. Wear one alone, or double, triple, heck, even quadruple the fun by combining them in couples and group costumes.
Killing Two Birds with One Stone & Making Them EVEN ANGRIER
Angry Birds are just downright cuckoo crazy. They first conquered PCs and smartphones, and now they’re taking the world of costumes by storm. Even in this form they’re just as crazy as their virtual prototypes. The trippy fowl costumes come in red, yellow and black and are just plain awesome. If you consider yourself more of a strange bird, then you’ll be at home in an utterly fearless Angry Birds King Pig costume.

As Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia you’re on the good side of the costume-Force, whereas with Darth Vader or a stormtrooper, you align yourself with the dark side of things. Obviously. Super (Mario) Costumes for Carnival
Everybody knows Super Mario. The most famous plumber in video game history is also Nintendo’s poster child. Fearless and supremely bouncy, he keeps it simple when it comes to his work clothes. To this effect, there’s no mistaking Super Mario, even if you’re not a gamer. If you’re going for high recognition value this Carnival season, our Super Mario costume or Super Mario kids costume couldn’t get the job done any better.

Even those with little time or interest for video games will have certainly encountered Tetris at some point in their lives – even if that means having only heard its distinctive tune in the background of some 24-hour diner.
